Dr. Yi Xian Chan graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and Honours in 2008. She is currently in her second year of Endocrinology Advanced Training at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. In conjunction with her clinical training, she is currently also involved in research at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney evaluating the immune phenotype of women with gestational diabetes compared to pregnant controls without gestational diabetes.
